The Kodak EasyShare S5101 5.6-Inch Digital Picture Frame has a quick touch border and you can start viewing your pictures right away in it. You just need to drag and drop the pictures with desktop software. The design of the frame is sleek and modern which is well like by the masses.
This product is easy to use since the quick touch border allows you to go through your pictures easily and it even keeps the fingerprints off, resulting in your frame to remain clean. It has a unique scrolling feature that allows you to slide your finger across the touch border to scroll through the pictures. You can even create, edit and view slideshows by the touch of your fingers!
You just need to insert a USB flash drive in your frame and view your pictures right away. The frame has full features of thumbnails, copying, deleting etc. It even features an on/off option. In addition to this, it serves with two SD card slots!
The Kodak EasyShare software makes it easier to download pictures from your computer into the frame and lets you browse through them and edit your albums as well. You can resize the pictures without it affecting the resolution of the picture. This is because of the aspect ratio, which is different in most of the other 7″ frames.
The resolution of the frame is 4:3 aspect ratios and it has the Kodak Color Science to blossom with color and crispy details. Moreover, the new modern design comes in two mattes: silver and red. These let you choose the color according to your placement and style. It can be set either vertically or horizontally on the wall as well as your table. It also features a discreet cord design, which is barely visible.
However, you cannot view the pictures in a randomized manner! You only can view it in a sequence. After rotating any pictures and turning the frame off, the frame looses the orientation of the formerly rotated pictures on startup. Along with this, the product does not hold up the compact flash but has the aptitude to duplicate pictures from the USB flash to any of the supported cards.
In addition, the adapter is supposed to be a World Wide adapter as it is mentioned by the manufacturer’s narrative but instead it comes with an AC adapter that can be used only inside US.
