The 512 MB internal memory provides ample space and is compatible with almost all of the memory card formats. The clock, alarm and calendar construct this as an exceptional bedroom or office ornament that can keep you on schedule
The picture quality is very good and the memory is more than adequate as it can store over 500 photos and music clips. However, the pictures play in a sequence and there is no option for randomization. It is a bit difficult to play the music along with the slideshow as is a setup option to play music along with the photos, but it only functions if you select another option to play the music after you have started the slideshow.
The frame has a very professional touch to it but does not let you zoom in on every picture. In addition, the glossy black finish is not able to hide the fingerprints on either side of the frame. Since it is a touch frame, there are fingerprints all over it! The pictures tend to have a nice and bright look with a good contrast.
This frame is quite affordable and comes in an attractive design. The positive factor is that it gives a decent image quality and it supports video and MP3 playback. The 512MB of built-in memory accepts all popular memory card formats and USB connections, which makes it an easier to use frame!
However, it could be more user-friendly as quite a few consumers find it difficult to operate at times. The frame attracting fingerprints is also amongst one of the huge disadvantages of this phone since no one likes seeing their frames dirty. In addition, the screen is too reflective and there it does not even come with a bundled remote.
In conclusion, the ViewSonic’s 8-inch DPG807 has many positive factors stated above including a couple of nice extras but still some traits hold it back from a higher rating.
